Yes, in fact we are one of the three offices in the world. The other two are
located in Shanghai, China and Osaka, Japan.
3. Does the office help in finding contacts of manufacturers
in other parts of Korea?
Unfortunately, our office being part of the Busan Korea City Government office
only helps promote business with Busan manufacturers.
4. Why does the Busan City Government only favor Busan
manufacturers?
It helps with the business development and maintaining jobs for the Busan City
population. It also keeps Busan manufacturers in the region and since the
population is constantly growing, it keeps the workforce in place providing
more jobs as the population grows.

It helps by locating products with the many different companies in Busan. We
help the buyers find ways of outsourcing. It can be an option if you are

Yes, there are two trade missions programmed every year that invites prospective
buyers to Busan Korea. The Busan City Government pays for your hotel stay at
one of our five star hotels and sets up a business forum where you will meet
with the industries of your choice. The different manufacturers will then
invite you to visit their plants to have a good look of their products. Dates
of these trade missions are scheduled without notice but you can ask and we
will be happy to put you on the list.
11. What is the difference between Kotra (Koreaís National
Trade Office) and the Busan Trade Office?
Busan takes an active role in the trade process once a manufacturer is found. We
make the long distance calls, get the product samples to you and assure you
that you will not be forgotten. We can even help negotiate prices to your
advantage.
12. Can the manufacturers provide private labeling and
exclusivity rights?
Depending on the industry, most everything is possible when buying in container
loads. The most common is in the shoe industry and the auto part industry.
Exclusivity can be given depending on yearly contracts you can handle for your
country or region. Busan companies do not want to hurt your business. They want
